We went to Maui with my parents. My parents came from Japan to meet us there. It was so much fun! I didn’t think traveling with your parents can be this good, but now that I have a kid, it’s actually nice to have extra hands. My parents liked it so much that they want to go back there every year. Well, I actually don’t mind going back there every year, if we have enough time and money…  Pictures from Maui trip are here.

I love Christmas season, even though we never have white Christmas here. And even though I’m not a Christian unlike Olive, I like the family/friends gatherings to appreciate each other. It’s a special time.

We had recycled gift exchange among our friends. We gave each other no-longer-wanted items in the house. In this way we don’t have to contribute the commercialism of Christmas and still have sprits of giving. We shared the (very good) food and drinks with our good friends on Christmas eve and just relaxed on Christmas day. Antoine really enjoyed unwrapping the gifts. He knew something good inside. Santa Clause must be proud…

Antoine has been modeling for kaching design‘s kids clothes. Our very talented friend, Pearlyn, has been creating wonderful wearable arts and other printed goods. I especially love her new line of kids t-shirts. It’s called “Endangered Animals Series” and each shirt has an illustration of endangered animals and 5% of profit will be donated to WWF. Kids love animals and this is a great way to teach kids about anmials in endangered states.

I finally get myself to organize and upload the pictures of July 4th week trip to Utah and Arizona. This brings me back a fond memory of the trip. It was very hot there, but we had a wonderful time. I can’t wait for the next road trip.
